Shame, shame, shame…

The thing about ego lifting is that the only thing that gets strengthened is your ego. Not your hamstrings, legs, or biceps, just the feeling of lifting a large amount of weight for no benefit but an instagram picture, or in this case a Youtube video.

Besides the embarrassment that this lifter (we use this term lightly) has undoubtedly suffered from internet trolls, what’s most horrific about this video is the form. In the video below, what we assume to be a crossfitter (due to his “kipping”) style of a bicep curl, the form is so bad that it looks like a completely different exercise. We would’ve thought it was a barbell row except for the grip is underhand. Needless to say kids don’t try this at home, just take this as a cautionary to always focus on your form, no matter what crossfit tells you.
