Epic Squat Battle: Stan “The Rhino” Efferding VS Larry Wheels

Strength Wars Movie

The World’s Strongest Pro Bodybuilder VS The Young Hungry Lion

Every seasoned lifter knows the difference between bodybuilding and powerlifting. The casual lay person thinks the two endeavors are one and the same, but the reality is that they are two very different disciplines. Each requires athletes to haul heavy weight, but that is where the comparisons end. It’s rare to see a powerlifter or bodybuilder excel at both disciplines on the competitive scene, but it isn’t impossible. Just ask Stan “The Rhino” Efferding about competing in both high level powerlifting and bodybuilding competitions.

Touted as the world’s strongest pro bodybuilder, The Rhino is a man who has garnered a tremendous amount of respect due to his knowledge of both bodybuilding and powerlifting. He has a channel that is dedicated to showing his subscribers his day to day activities, how he manages to stay in tremendous shape even at an advanced age, and how best to train if you want to be both well muscled and powerful. But like everyone, the days of Stan “The Rhino” Efferding completely destroying the younger competition are coming to an end. Or at least that’s what you would think.

Recently The Rhino proved that he still has a tremendous amount left in the tank as he trained with young up and coming powerlifter Larry Wheels. The two engaged in a friendly squat competition at Larry Wheels’ stomping grounds in Farmingdale, New York. The two went head to head in an epic squat challenge that would prove to be the undoing of even the most seasoned lifters out there. Take a look at the video below to see how the epic battle unfolded.
