Felipe Franco: The Chosen OneBiography

Early Years

Felipe Franco was born on May 17, 1982 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Felipe’s love for lifting emerged when he was just 17 years old, right before he enrolled into college to study physical education.

While in college, he made sure to learn as much as possible about training and nutrition. His knowledge of bodybuilding grew and his results followed. He soon became one of the most fit and ripped guys at his college. Felipe’s interest for bodybuilding grew and he decided to pursue the full-time as soon as he graduated from school.

Competitive Bodybuilding

After Felipe graduated, he went on to compete. He competed to get a fill of being on the stage and as he did this, his hunger for success and winning increased as he set out to win the famed Pro Card.

After years of hard work and dedication, he finally won his Pro status as well as respect and recognition from other athletes.

Eyes On The Olympia

Felipe now competes in some of the biggest shows around the world. In some of these competitions, he beats all of his opponents and took the champion title. He wiped his competition away at the 2016 Europa Dallas, IFBB Men’s Pysique and 2018 Los Angeles Grand Prix, IFBB Men’s Physique.

Felipe is always ready to grow and is hungry for more success. This mentality stick though all area of his career, including personal training, bodybuilding, and entrepreneurship.

Personal Life

In 2015, Felipe Franco married superstar Brazilian TV personality Juliana Salimeni. While not specifically a fitness competitor, Juliana took great pride in her physique and focus on fitness. The two understood each other’s complex and busy schedules between training, TV appearances, and competitions.

In 2019, Franco and Salimeni divorced. The separation process led to Franco temporarily losing sight of his motivation to quality and win the Men’s Physique Mr. Olympia. It was only through the support of his friends, family, and fans that he has regained his spirit and began a sort of “comeback” to bringing his 100% on the competition stage.
