Miguel Angel Aguilar has passed away after being shot during an attempted robbery of his home in Los Angeles in September.
The 43-year-old fitness influencer died on Saturday after a three-month battle following the incident, which occurred on Sept. 13. Aguilar was the founder and CEO of Self Made Training Facility. The organization confirmed the news on social media on Sunday and shared a statement.
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our founder and CEO, Miguel Angel Aguilar. After a courageous three-month battle following the tragic incident that took place on September 13th, 2024, Miguel peacefully passed away on December 21st, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.”

Fitness Influencer Passed Away After Home Invasion
According to NBC Los Angeles, police claimed that four men confronted Aguilar and his wife at their Bel Air home. As the incident escalated, one man shot at the fitness star, hitting him multiple times including once in the face.
The men were later arrested in Northern California in connection to the shooting. They face charges of murder, attempted robbery, and assault with a firearm. According to TMZ, they face life in prison if convicted.
