Flex Wheeler shows heart and will in recent training videos.

Determination is the perhaps the number one attribute needed to become a successful pro bodybuilder. If you’re unwilling to go through the pain of training then you will never yield the results you seek. It’s a notion that veteran bodybuilder Flex Wheeler has come to embrace.

Despite all the hardships, despite having to get his leg amputated, Flex Wheeler is still motivated to put work in at the gym. While there are many out there who simply complain about getting into the gym to train, Flex Wheeler is making no excuses.

It would be easy for the bodybuilding legend to simply lay down and admit defeat. Instead Flex Wheeler has decided to push himself despite his physical limitations and train as intensely as ever.

In a recent video, Flex Wheeler takes on the battle ropes in some serious HIIT training.

Cardio Tip FLEX WHEELER’s FABULOUS 5 1 min rounds… —– 4 rounds = 1 set Alternating arms up and down. Both arms up and down engage your core Both arms inward motion Both arms outwork motion —– 15 sec In between each round Repeat six times PS Make sure you have a puke bucket ? nearby

But that isn’t all. The legend has even pushed himself through leg day training showcasing his heart and will.

Not sure Y I keep Torturing myself SMH ❗❗❗ just walking generate so much pain. Then I come into the gym and do leg extensions and leg press completely raming my residual limb into the bottom of my prosthetic socket ?. Just immensely mind-boggling, why would I do such a thing ??‍♂️? But if I’m ever to get back to a normal lifestyle I have to keep pushing the envelope, all I can do is pray one day that the pain will subside and I can go on ✊? #fight #pain #nuts #will #willpower #crazy #gymlife #amputeelife #neverquit #nevergiveup #phantompain #neuropathy #nervepain #nervedamage

It’s clear that pain is not a limiting factor for the legend. If Flex Wheeler hasn’t given up on his fitness goals, why should anyone else? Push yourself hard and you’ll be surprised how far you can take your progress.
