Floyd Mayweather Roasts Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya Over New Multi-Million DAZN Deal

Floyd Mayweather trashes Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya.

Canelo Alvarez is set to make some big bucks in the next five years thanks to his recent deal with the sports streaming service DAZN. Oscar De La Hoya helped to broker the deal through Golden Boy Promotions. Both of Mexico’s biggest boxing stars helped to sign one of the most lucrative deals in combat sports history. A five year, 11 fight, $365 million deal is nothing to scoff at after all. Well at least for the average person. Floyd Mayweather on the other hand seems to find all of this laughable.

One of the highest paid athletes in sports history, Floyd Mayweather knows a thing or two about making multi-million dollar deals through pugilism. Mayweather in fact made $300 million for his bout with MMA and UFC star Conor McGregor in August 2017. Canelo Alvarez signing his new DAZN deal doesn’t impress Floyd Mayweather one bit as evidenced by this scathing social media post by the boxing star.

Canelo Alvarez wasn’t the only person to receive some biting comments from Floyd Mayweather. Golden Boy Promotions head and former pro boxer Oscar De La Hoya was also a recipient of Floyd Mayweather’s wrath.

Oscar De La Hoya wasn’t one to be out done however as he responded in turn on Twitter.

What do you make of Floyd Mayweather and his attack on Canelo Alvarez and Oscar De La Hoya?
