Who won big at UFC 238?!
UFC 238 was filled top to bottom with some truly epic battles as each of the events top three bouts didn’t disappoint.
In the main event Henry Cejudo solidified his legacy as one of the greatest combat sports athletes to ever compete with his come from behind victory over Marlon Moraes. Moraes control the first round with kicks from distance giving Henry Cejudo all kinds of problems. That all changed in the second round when Henry Cejudo turned up the heat and pressured Moraes into a dog fight. In the third round, Cejudo found the finish with some devastating elbows from top control to secure a TKO victory.
The the co-main event Valentina Shevchenko secured a major win with a devastating head kick knock out of Jessica Eye. It was one of the most brutal the sport has seen and saw Eye out on the canvas for a considerable amount of time. After controlling the first round with wrestling and body kicks, Valentina Shevchenko threw up a beautiful head kick that closed the show.
The battle between Tony Ferguson and Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone ended on a bit of a downer. The doctors stepped in and stopped the match due to the massive swelling to Cerrone’s right eye. The bout with back and forth and truly lived up to the hype for two rounds before the stoppage.
