To many in the bodybuilding world, Ronnie Coleman is the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He is only matched by a select few including Lee Haney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Dorian Yates when discussing the biggest legends in the sport. But more recently, Ronnie Coleman has had a slew of health scares and surgeries on his hips and spine. He’s had so many surgeries that we’ve actually lost count. Many fans and athletes believe it’s a result of his hardcore training from back in his prime… time catching up to him. This begs the question, was it all worth it?

In part four of our six part interview with Gregg Valentino, Vlad Yudin discusses Ronnie Coleman’s legacy and questions whether or not his legendary status was worth his personal health. Does Gregg consider Ronnie to be the greatest bodybuilder of all time? Was it necessary for Ronnie to train as hard as he did? Or could he have achieved the same level of greatness while also protecting the longevity of his health and body? Vlad and Gregg break it down in the latest episode of A Conversation With Gregg Valentino above.
