Just within striking distance of the top three at the 2020 Olympia, Hadi Choopan continued to demonstrate his potential in the Open Bodybuilding division. With many believing he deserved a higher placing at the 2020 show, Choopan clearly has what it takes to potentially win the Olympia.

In hopes of proving himself worthy of the throne, Hadi Choopan is training as hard as ever. He’s already showing some impressive strength as he readies himself for the 2021 Olympia. This massive squat demonstrates that the Iranian powerhouse is pull out all the stops.

Hadi Choopan hasn’t just been working his squats however. The standout bodybuilder has also been pushing himself in training in different ways. While many would assume bodybuilders to be agile, flexible or functional strong, Hadi Choopan has been doing some training that completely refutes those notions.

A recent video on his Instagram page shows the Iranian bodybuilder attempting box jumps. Considering his massive size and height he’s trying to jump to, it is a truly impressive, albeit challenging feat.

That is, to increase strength and flexibility, your muscles and joints need to be stressed and stretched with a load greater than normal. The muscles and joints would be stimulated to adapt to the increased load. When you stretch a muscle, the muscle fibers or tendons attaching it to bone become longer
