Hadi Choopan Gives Official Statement on Visa Status, Could Miss 2020 Olympia

Hadi Choopan, still without a Visa can miss the 2020 Olympia.

2020 has proven to be a difficult time for everyone across the globe. The global health crisis shut down industries, left many sick, and has proven even worse for a portion of the population.

The health crisis has also affected global travel. This is exactly what Hadi Choopan is facing during these troubling times.

The Iranian bodybuilder is having trouble getting a visa in order for him to compete at the 2020 Olympia. This is surely a huge disappointment for both Hadi Choopan and his many fans.

Up until now Hadi Choopan hasn’t said much directly about his visa situation. But recently he posted to Instagram to inform his followers of his current status. From the sounds of things there’s potential that Hadi Choopan could miss the Olympia.

“⛔ Update regarding my visa status ⛔

I have no new visa till now. I have to do interview with US embassy officers and all the embassies and Consulates are closed except in UAE. But again I have to get UAE visa which seems to be very difficult nowadays. I am not sure whether I can get it in a right time.

? Just pray for me ?”

Choopan even responded to Kai Greene who asked if he would be able to compete at the Olympia.

Despite this unfortunate news, Hadi Choopan is still training hard.
