Hafthor Bjornsson Suffers Injury During 2019 World’s Strongest Man Event

The 2018 World’s Strongest Man is facing a bit of adversity at this year’s competition.

Hafthor Bjornsson dominated the competition at the 2018 World’s Strongest Man and is looking to repeat his success at the 2019 show. But from the looks of things it could be an uphill battle for the strongman and Game of Thrones actor.

Hafthor Bjornsson suffered a foot injury on the first day of competition and it’s a bad one. According to the defending champion, he tore his plantar fascia, a very painful and nasty injury to say the least.

Despite that fact, Hafthor Bjornsson appears to be in good spirits and is still fired up to defend his title of World’s Strongest Man!

Will Hafthor Bjornsson overcome the odds to win two consecutive World’s Strongest Man competitions? We’ll have to wait and see.
