Hungry As Ever, A 71 Year Old Sylvester Stallone Trains Hard As He Preps For Creed 2

Sylvester Stallone is still putting in work at 71.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard of of Creed, the continuation to the famous and long running Rocky franchise. The film starred Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone and Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan. Along with compelling direction by Ryan Coogler, the actors were able to make something truly special and revitalize the franchise, once again bringing Rocky into the collective conscious.

With the popularity of the first film, it was a no brainer that a sequel would soon be on the way and both Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone are set to return. While Jordan will be handling the brunt of the physical aspect in the film, it doesn’t mean that Stallone will simply be taking a back seat. Preparing for film roles these days are as much physical as they are mental, but it’s something that an actor of Stallone’s caliber has likely grown used to over the years.

As he gets set to make his return to the screen, Sylvester Stallone has been ramping up his training and at 71 years old, Sly is still putting in some hard work in the gym. In the Instagram post below, Stallone tries to pull off a 100 lbs weighted pull up that some 20 year olds would have trouble pulling off.

Another easy workout! You’re only as old as you and your joints feel!LOL
