Jamal Browner Crushes Raw Deadlift and Total All-Time Records at USPA Pro

Jamal Browner breaks deadlift and total all-time records at USPA Pro.

Powerlifter Jamal Browner showcased his incredible strength at the USPA Pro breaking the raw deadlift (455kgs/1,003lbs) and total all-time world records 1,052.5 kgs (2,320.45 lbs). Competing in the 110kg (242.5lb) division and weighing in at 109kgs (241.2lbs), Browner once again proved why he’s one of the strongest powerlifters on the planet.

One of the most dominant lifters on the planet today, Jamal Browner was hoping to showcase his incredible strength once again at this past weekend’s USPA Pro. Not only was Browner able to acquit himself well at the show, but break a number of records along the way.

The first record of note is the raw deadlift. Jamal Browner was able to crush his first two attempts. The first was a 420kg (925.9lb) lift that he crushed easily. The second attempt, the record breaking attempt, was an astounding 455kgs (1003.1lbs), which Browner lifted with ease. The third attempt was for a 467.5kg (1030.6lb) lift, but Browner was unable to secure it. Nevertheless, the 455kg (1003.1lb) lift is a new personal record for Browner and a great achievement considering he competes in the 110kg (242.5lb) weight class.

The feats didn’t stop there, Jamal Browner also broke the record for lifting totals reclaiming the title he once held. Breaking the total all-time record most recently held by Derek Thistlethwaite, Browner lifted a total of 1052.5kgs (2320.36lbs). Below is the full recounting of Browner’s lifting numbers.
