Jay Cutler believes that Phil Heath could still win on stage if he returned to bodybuilding.

Phil Heath is one of the best bodybuilders of all-time and has kept up with his impressive physique in retirement. He has been in rumors of returning to the stage since he last stepped off in 2020. According to Jay Cutler,Heath still has what it takes to compete and could win right away.

Heath totaled seven Olympia titles over the course of his career. In 2020, he stepped on stage for the final time but has been active in the gym ever since. During the 2020 show, Heath finished third and fans have been waiting for his return ever since. His seven titles is second all-time to Ronnie Coleman and Lee Haney, who are tied at the top for eight. Many wonder if Heath would return in hopes of matching this all-time record.

Despite keeping his physique in championship shape, Heath ruled out a return in 2023 back in May. This does not mean that it is off the table for 2024. Heath has provided many updates showing off his progress to this point.

On a recent episode of Cutler Castthe host discussed a conversation he had with Heath about possibly returning to bodybuilding.

Jay Cutler Believes Phil Heath Has The Urge To Compete

Jay Cutler was joined by Milos Sarcev on his podcast, where he was able to discuss a conversation with Phil Heath over dinner. According to Cutler, Heath has what it takes to win another Olympia.

“I told Phil, we had dinner, and I said ‘dude, you’re almost untouchable throughout your reign in my opinion and how it would take us just a little bit.”

Heath had a very straightforward response to Cutler.

“If you comeback, I’ll comeback.”

Of course, Cutler was also one of the best in the world during his peak. He finished as the runner-up to Ronnie Coleman on multiple occasions before winning his first Olympia title in 2006. This would be the first of four in his career. Cutler also won the Arnold Classic three times. Since retiring from competition, Cutler continues to share his passion for fitness.

Cutler has been open about his bodybuilding journey, including discussing his steroid cycle. Now mind you, he insists he isn’t returning to actively competing, but he recently started a challenge to transform his physique for turning 50.

Both Jay Cutler and Phil Heath have what it takes to bring many eyeballs to any competition they want to enter. Despite having lifetime qualification, Heath recently explained how he would not have to do to the Olympia if he wanted to make a return to bodybuilding. Once the calendar turns to 2024, there will be even more talk about the bodybuilding legends returning.
