Jersey Shore Star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Has Been Sentenced to 8 Months in Prison

Mike Sorrentino has found himself in a bit of a ‘Situation’.

So it’s official, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is facing some prison time after his conviction for tax evasion.


After appearing in Federal Court Friday, Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months prison time, this coming after the reality television star pleaded guilty to the charges. Sorrentino must also pay $10,000 within thirty days and must also complete 500 hours of community service as part of his sentencing agreement.

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino first gained popularity on the hit MTV reality television program “The Jersey Shore” and saw his star rise in both the fitness and entertainment industries. Starring in the show from 2009-2012, ‘The Situation’ would once again star in the reunion show “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

Sorrentino’s brother, Marc Sorrentino, was also sentenced Friday to two years in prison as well as a $75,000 fine.
