Jon Jones Has His License Revoked By The California State Athletic Commission

Bad news for Jon Jones.

Jon Jones has had a rough go of it in the last few years. His redemption story was burnt to cinders and utterly ruined by the discovery that he tested positive for a performance enhancer. He was stripped of the light heavyweight belt and reduced to the level of a shameless cheater in the eyes of MMA fans.

Now it appears that the situation is growing worse for the former light heavyweight kingpin as reports have come out that Jon Jones is having his mixed martial arts fighting license revoked in the state of California. According to ESPN the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) unanimously voted to revoke the fighter’s license in the state after testing positive in his bout with current champion Daniel Cormier, a fight which took place in Anaheim.

Jon Jones was also fined $205,000 by the commission. This comes as a major blow as the state of California is considered one of the major hubs of MMA.

What do you think of Jon Jones and his fall from grace?
