UPDATE: Dana White has confirmed that Jon Jones did in fact fail his drug test – though he did not explicitly state the specific substance. He also denied early reports that Jon Jones will be stripped of his title. Currently, he still holds the title.

TMZ Sports is reporting that Jon Jones has tested positive for steroids after his return to MMA and big win against Daniel Cormier in UFC 214. This means that Jon Jones will be stripped of his title – switching back to Cormier.

This is the second time Jones has failed a drug test. He also tested positive for banned substances in 2016 before UFC 200 and was pulled from the main event. Jones got socked with a 1 year ban. Now rumor has it (though nothing has been confirmed) that Jones may face up to a 4 year ban.
