Jose Raymond Undergoes Hip Surgery

Jose Raymond has undergone hip replacement surgery.

One of the true standouts in the 212 division, Jose Raymond has just recently undergone hip replacement surgery.

It’s no secret that Jose Raymond has dealt with hip issues in the past, but now it appears that the problem was severe enough to require surgery. Jose Raymond made reference to possibly needing surgery around this time last year.

Now, as reported by Muscular Development, Jose Raymond has undergone successful hip replacement surgery. The veteran bodybuilder appears to be in good spirits and is already talking about getting back in the gym as soon as possible.

“I’ll be in the gym Monday,” said an optimistic Jose Raymond. “I won’t be squatting, but I’m going to the gym.”

Currently he can walk under his own power, but still requires crutches for a bit of stability. It just goes to show that when they put their mind to something, a high level bodybuilder will always push themselves to get back to doing what they love.
