Fitness Influencer Joy Meek is GymTok’s Newest Viral Sensation For Her Insane Abs
Fitness influencer Joy Meek is attracting some serious attention on social media, and one look at her physique makes it pretty easy to understand why.
Meek, who posts under the handle @joyymeek, has recently seen several of her videos explode on TikTok as she shows off an unusually deep and defined set of abs. Her account has climbed past 130,000 followers with millions of likes, while individual physique videos have generated millions of views.
In one viral post, Meek jokingly described herself as the “girl version of Chris Tren,” referring to Chris and Michael Busha of the Tren Twins. The video surpassed 1.5 million views as fans reacted to Meek’s muscular physique and particularly her midsection.
More recently, Meek again showed off her abs in a video jokingly captioned, “After eating a lot of In and Out.”
Joy Meek’s Viral Abs Have Taken Over GymTok
Meek’s abdominal development is clearly the feature generating the most attention, with individual separations visible throughout her entire midsection. Her physique has even sparked social media posts asking whether she possesses an eight-pack, 10-pack or even more visible abdominal sections.
Of course, the appearance and number of visible abdominal segments is heavily influenced by genetics. Training can increase the size and definition of the abdominal muscles, while sufficiently low body fat makes those muscles more visible, but exercise cannot fundamentally change the underlying arrangement of someone’s rectus abdominis.
Meek appears to have a particularly favorable combination of muscular development, conditioning and genetics.
And while there isn’t much publicly available information detailing a specific “Joy Meek ab workout,” she has revealed more about the overall approach behind her physique.
How Does Joy Meek Train?
Meek currently offers her own training guide and says she developed the program after approximately 11 months of training, researching and experimenting with different methods.
Her approach includes a full six-day training split along with guidance covering cardio, nutrition, recovery and sleep. Meek describes her philosophy as a realistic, science-based approach to developing an athletic physique rather than promising followers a quick transformation.
That distinction is worth noting considering how quickly her physique has gained attention online. There does not appear to be one special abdominal exercise or crash diet. Meek credits for her appearance. Instead, her stated approach emphasizes structured resistance training, nutrition, recovery and consistency.
At just 18 years old, Meek has already built a sizable fitness following and has partnerships with fitness apparel and supplement companies.
Whether or not she ultimately decides to pursue competitive bodybuilding remains to be seen. For now, however, her remarkable abdominal development has made Joy Meek one of the newest physiques going viral across the online fitness community.
