KAI VS PHIL: TRAINIG 10 WEEKS OUT FROM MR. OLYMPIA

Generation Iron Kai Vs Phil

Start placing your bets.

We’re about half way through the summer and you know what that means. You only have several more weeks to enjoy the beaches and pools before they’re closed for the season. But besides that, it means that the Mr. Olympia competition is right around the corner. The Olympia is the biggest bodybuilding event of the year and after last years turn of events there’s no doubts that the 2015 event will be even more heated.

The 2014 event saw remarkable physiques, particularly of those in the top five including the champ Phil Heath and the consensus number two in the world Kai Greene. Both men were at their shredded best at last years event and both were feeling confident heading into the competition. Greene’s bravado was unlike anything we’d seen before and The Predator hoped to stake his claim as the number one bodybuilder in the world. Unfortunately for him, Phil was also in top form and ultimately took home the bronze Sandow.

.

Many fans thought that Kai should have been declared the champion, but it seems the judges saw it in favor of the reigning king. But more than the result, the lead up to the finals offered fans a brilliant show that saw the two rivals trade barbs at the Olympia press conference as well as feuding on stage which got a bit physical. We’d never seen this level of disdain between two bodybuilders on the stage before and it made proceedings all the more enjoyable to watch.

With just nine weeks until the bitter rivals take to the stage once again, it appears that both men have been pulling out all the stops leading up to the event. Never has either man looked so prepared. Take a look at some of the grueling training videos and photos that back that claim up nicely.

First up we have Kai Greene 10 weeks out:
