Another veteran of the bodybuilding world has passed away.
Former Mr. Universe Karl Kainrath has passed away at the age of 77.
The bodybuilding veteran passed away suddenly in Graz, Austria. A bodybuilder with an extensive career in both amateur and professional competition, Karl Kainrath proved to be a life long athlete.
Through 1969 to 1976, Karl Kainrath was a top flight competitor. In 1970 he would go on to win the IFBB Mr. Universe cementing himself in history.
Kainrath was a longtime friend of fellow Austrian bodybuilder and consensus greatest of all time, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The two trained and competed together throughout their careers forging a bond over their careers.
