Fitness Influencer Larissa Borges Passed Away At 33 Years Old After Double Cardiac Arrest

Larissa Borges died after being in a coma for a week following her cardiac arrest.

Fitness star and influencer Larissa Borges passed away on Monday after suffering two cardiac arrest episodes. The 33-year-old fell into a coma for a week before tragically passing away.

Borges’ family released the news of her passing on Monday using a post on her Instagram page:

“Our beloved daughter, take your steps with God, and be blessed.”

The family added that Borges “fought courageously” for her life. According to local media, Borges was hospitalized on August 20th after her first episode of cardiac arrest while in Gramado. It is currently unknown what caused Borges to slip into cardiac arrest. There will be a full post-mortem analysis and investigation.

“The body was sent for necropsy. We will try to search through laboratory tests for substances that she possibly consumed,” said Deputy Gustavo Barcellos.

Following her passing, Borges’ family has asked for help from the public to transport her body from Gramado to her hometown.

The death of Larissa Borges comes nearly two months after the fitness world was hit hard by the loss of Jo Lindner.
