But what does all that PED use do to the human body?

After using PEDs for eight years, Larry Wheels himself has become curious as to how his usage has effected his body. While he may be the picture of strength and power, there’s no telling what’s going on inside his body.

Larry Wheels sought out Dr. Mutaz Tabbaa who broke down exactly what has happened to him do to his prolonged PED use. Dr. Tabbaa explained that the most concerning damage from PED use is to the kidneys. While the liver can be damaged as well, it can be reversed. Kidney damage however cannot be reversed.

When Larry brought up suffering from stomach pain after taking oral steroids, Dr. Tabbaa had this to say in response:

“The best way for oral performance enhancement, is to use on an empty stomach. The availability for absorption will be 100% perfect. So they go through the liver, then convert to the active form, then when the half life is finished it will go back through your liver and out your body.”

One of Larry’s major concerns was that he is no longer producing testosterone from his testes. However, Post-Cycle Therapy can actually reverse this adverse effect.

With all the dangers of PEDs you have to wonder if it’s really worth it just to have a chance at glory, and not a guaranteed chance at that.
