Larry Wheels Announces He Will Compete in Strongman After Massive 937 Lbs Deadlift PR

Larry Wheels is taking on every strength sport.

Starting off as a powerlifter with a ton of promise, Larry Wheels looked to be headed in a very specific direction. Many believed that powerlifting would be his primary focus throughout his career. But it seems that he’s taking a different route than many would have thought.

Larry Wheels has also competed in bodybuilding competitions on the amateur level. At one point he had a goal of becoming the World’s Strongest Pro Bodybuilder hoping to take on the mantel Stan Efferding popularized. While we’re unsure if this is still his intention, one thing is certain: Larry Wheels is ready to tackle another strength sport.

In his latest YouTube video, Larry Wheels announced his intentions of competing in strongman.

If we continue to see this kind of progression out of the powerlifter it wouldn’t be off base to say he’s becoming the king of strength sports. To compete in powerlifting, bodybuilding, and now strongman, Larry Wheels is carving out a legacy all his own.
