Like Father, Like Daughter: Cassandra Annergren Shows Insane Strength at Only 17 Years Old

Cassandra Annergren shows insane strength like her father Anders Johansson.

In strength sports it’s fairly common to see young athletes take after their fathers. We’ve seen it many times in a variety of strength related endeavors, particularly in bodybuilding with the likes of Hunter Labrada and Joseph Baena taking after Lee Labrada and Arnold Schwarzenegger, respectively.

Being around the culture and scene since their youth is usually a major factor in their influence. And with strength sports being a male dominated field, it seems like a foregone conclusion that sons take after their fathers.

But that isn’t always the case.

Time are changing and more and more women are getting involved in strength sports. And no not just the Bikini or Fitness divisions in the IFBB, but in more intensive sports like powerlifting and strongman.

Enter Cassandra Annergren.

Daughter of Swedish strongman and powerlifter Anders Johansson AKA Strake-Anders, Cassandra is proving to be a talented strongwoman in her own right. Already achieving some great success in the sport, Cassandra Annergren looks poised to go far in her career.

Cassandra isn’t just strong for a woman, which many in the male dominated space seem to use for differentiation. No, Cassandra Annergren is just plain strong and at only 17 years old it’s clear that she has room to grow.

In a recent post to her Instagram Cassandra once again showcased her crazy strength and why she’s a woman to keep an eye on in the strength world. She does a farmers walk for 60 meters with 102kg/224lbs in each hand.
