Lou Ferrigno Wants To Head Up Donald Trump Fitness Council

Lou Ferrigno wants to make America fit again.

In the current political landscape it’s rare to see the word fitness showing up in the same sentence as Donald Trump. What’s even more unlikely is that you’d hear the names Donald Trump and Lou Ferrigno mentioned together. It seems that the former bodybuilding champion turned actor has been corresponding with the Trump to head up the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition.

Lou Ferrigno originally told the Daily Mail the following statement:

“I have been corresponding with President Trump because I want to change America and make America healthy again. I am a top choice for them. I feel I am the best candidate for that.”

Ferrigno goes on to further cement his expertise as a leading candidate for the important position.

“Nobody can surpass what I do, especially the life I have lived, what I have overcome and my passion with bodybuilding and fitness.”

As a two-time Mr. Universe, Lou Ferrigno has acquitted himself well in the realm of bodybuilding. With his bodybuilding competitions as well as other fitness ventures it’s not out of the realm of possiblity to consider him for such a position.

What do you think of Lou Ferrigno campaigning for a position in the Trump administration?
