Natalie Richards Shatters World Records As She Becomes 57 KG IPF World Champion

Natalie Richards breaks world records, wins big at 2023 IPF World Championships.

After exploding onto the scene earlier this year, Natalie Richards recently secured the IPF World Championship in the 57 KG division, shattering world records in the process. The budding powerlifting star was even able to out-duel former champion Jade Jacob en route to her dominant victory.

Natalie Richards burst onto the scene and cemented her status as a woman to watch earlier in 2023. Back in February Richards became the first Powerlifting America athlete to total over 500 KG in the 57 KG division. Putting up massive numbers for her size, Richards showcased that she could be the future of the division.

What makes her performance at the 2023 IPF World Classic Open Powerlifting Championships even more impressive is her lighter weight. Natalie Richards weighed in at 55.80 KG (123 Lbs) making her one of the lightest competitors in the division. With that said Richards was able to break world records despite her smaller size. She didn’t miss any of her attempts which means her training and preparation for the show were meticulous.

With the championships taking place from June 11-18 in Valletta, Malta, Natalie Richards has already established herself as one of the stars of the event.

Below is a list of Richards’ lifts and the impressive numbers she put up to secure victory.
