Nate Diaz Is Trashing Conor McGregor For Losing. Is He Trying To Set Up Trilogy Fight?

A trilogy fight is all but inevitable.

The Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor match wasn’t received well by everyone. There were some that even suggested that the bout was fixed from the beginning. For those who didn’t believe that narrative, they instead believed that Conor McGregor didn’t do anything impressive in the fight. The latter is a stretch, but it all comes down to opinion after all. One of those many detractors was none other than old Conor McGregor foe Nate Diaz.

Ever since losing the rematch to Conor McGregor back in August 2016, Nate Diaz has been pretty vocal on his old rival and how he felt that he won the fight. Nevertheless, time has moved forward and since then we’ve seen Conor McGregor make history by holding two championship title in two different weight classes in the UFC. Nate Diaz has been on the sidelines, seemingly waiting to get a crack at McGregor or at least get a big pay day for his troubles.

From a recent Instagram post, it seems as if Nate Diaz is ready to set up a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor.

Whether he meant to or not, Diaz it seems that these harsh words will easily set up a trilogy match with McGregor. “The Notorious” has never been more popular and a fight against him would likely garner a tremendous amount of hype and fan fare. If the fans want the fight, then you can bet that the UFC will do everything in their power to make it happen. And let’s be honest, Diaz wouldn’t mind making millions to fight McGregor for a third time.

Do you think Nate Diaz is trying to get a trilogy fight signed?
