This competitive season has been marked by so many crazy ups and downs, false starts, the suspension of the reigning champion from competition… who knows what will happen on the actual day! Underdogs who didn’t stand a chance against athletes like Phil Heath and Shawn Rhoden now have a competitive chance at the number one spot.
Fan favorites in the lead up show Roelly Winklaar is expected to seize the number one spot now that Shawn Rhoden’s been dethroned. But, it’s really impossible to say before it happens, since actual conditioning and performance can really only be seen the day of the competition. Could Brandon Curry take home the Mr. Olympia trophy? Absolutely. Will this Olympia be one to remember? 100%.
