Oscar De La Hoya Trashes Dana White and UFC: “I’m going to compete with Dana White”

Dana White and the UFC have made a rival of Oscar De La Hoya.

Let’s face it, the UFC and Dana White has been under attack for the subject of low fighter pay for some time now. Countless fighters have gone on record to express their dissatisfaction with their UFC contracts in the past.

With the MMA promotion having sold for over $4 billion back in 2016, many fighters have been eager to see if the UFC would pay the fighters much larger purses. Unfortunately, many competitors have been less than satisfied and are seeking a change.

Enter Oscar De La Hoya.

While the bout between Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell may not have been the fight that the MMA community was clamoring for, Oscar De La Hoya has gone on record claiming that both legendary fighters earned the biggest purses of their career fighting under Golden Boy Promotions.

Now it seems that Oscar De La Hoya isn’t just going to make it one and done with MMA. Instead, the boxing promoter is looking to change the game and actively compete against the UFC, spurned by Dana White and his recent scathing comments about the De La Hoya.
