Phil Heath Reveals His Secret For Staying Motivated On His Way To Seventh Olympia Win

The power of self belief.

Many people overlook the mental game when it comes to bodybuilding. Most anyone can identify the fact that bodybuilding is a game about pushing your body to it’s physical limits, training hard and diligently all while maintaining a strict diet. But while these elements are expressly important, the mental side of the game has equal if not more importance. If you don’t believe you can do it then you’re better off stepping away from the weights before you get hurt. It’s what Phil Heath had to learn early in order to excel in the sport.

It’s no coincidence why Phil Heath has been able to become a six time Olympia champion. He’s pushed himself physically during training, but that’s not what has brought him to the next level. The true secret behind his ability to transform himself into the greatest current bodybuilder walking the planet is through his mindset. Phil Heath has an unbreakable will and he wants his fans and pundits to understand that they can do it too. The below Instagram post of Phil Heath not only shows how massive the Olympia king is, but also the mindset he has utilized to get to the top spot.

Life can be a real bitch! We all have been hit with unforeseen bullshit! We can let those issues control us or we simply say…F#*K THAT!!!! I personally choose to leave my pain, anger and problems with the weights! The Gym is my anchor and it’s what keeps me grounded. It’s MY TIME to become a better version of myself. Whatever you’re going through right now that has you questioning your purpose or your worth… remember who the F#*K YOU ARE!!! Please find a healthy balance and INVEST IN YOURSELF! You are worth that! Life can and will beat your ass if you let it! I wish you all a positive, healthy and productive day! God bless! #PhilHeath #PhilKnows #MrOlympia #6xMrO #InvestInYourSelf
