Generation Iron 3 goes worldwide as the GI Fitness Network continues to grow.

Last week, The Vladar Company announced that Generation Iron 3 was officially in production. Focusing even more on the global aspect of the sport – director Vlad Yudin is traveling across the world to answer the core question: what is the ultimate physique? With many diverse divisions opening up in the IFBB and NPC – the definition of “ideal physique” is expanding beyond the Men’s Open champions we see on the Olympia stage. To go even further – across the world there are different divisions (such as Wellness) that show how different cultures respect different body types. Is it possible that one commonality exists across the world?

Director/producer Vlad Yudin and producer Edwin Mejia Jr. stopped by the New York Stock Exchange for a quick interview with Cheddar Live. They discuss their inspiration for making a third film in the franchise and why they were inspired to take it globally.

They also discuss the ever rising success of the Generation Iron Fitness Network. Showcasing how as the world becomes more and more digital – the Generation Iron Fitness Network continues to unify the sport under one hub providing feature films, digital series, and news coverage on a global level. With the recent introductions of Generation Iron Brasil and Generation Iron Persia – bodybuilding is getting even further exposure for athletes and locations that don’t often get a chance to appear at major IFBB events such as the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia.
