Regan Grimes is headed back to his original division.

Regan Grimes made waves when he decided to switch from the Open Weight division to Classic Physique. Many believed that the weight category would prove to be a bit too low for him, but Grimes stuck to his guns in the spirit of exploration.

Now, Regan Grimes has had his taste of the Classic Physique division and he’s looking to make a switch back to his original category.

That’s right, Regan Grimes is heading back to the Open Weight division and looking to bring his Classic look to his original category.

Posing for Steve at @bevsgym before the New York Pro?? I hadn’t told anyone of me switching to classic this was maybe 2 days out and just told steve minutes before this and he was shocked of my decision but when I posed for him he said you pulled it off! One of my biggest accomplishments this far in my bodybuilding career winning the New York pro classic and earning a spot to compete at the Olympia! Now my goal is to bring that classic look but bigger to the open category! Slowly gaining the size back and can’t wait to get back up on stage!
