A Response To The Recent CT Fletcher Controversy…
This statement is in response for the fans of Generation Iron’s Original Documentary – CT FLETCHER: MY MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION. A documentary about the life and career of CT Fletcher.
In the last week CT Fletcher has made some very disappointing, defamatory and factually incorrect statements directed at Generation Iron Network:
Due to the confidentiality clauses in the agreement with CT Fletcher, Generation Iron is not permitted to comment about the specific points of the deal, financial structure and revenue details. However, Generation Iron Network (and its producers, employees and affiliates) would like to state with full certainty that it has never misrepresented, deceived, cheated or stole from CT Fletcher.
Generation Iron producers have worked tirelessly to create the documentary about CT Fletcher and released it in record time. Generation Iron Network states with certainty that it has never violated the agreement/deal that was made with CT Fletcher, during or after the release of the film, the digital soundtrack or marketing materials.
Generation Iron Network’s reps were not going to address this matter in public, however CT Fletcher’s social media comments are extremely disappointing to the people who have worked hard on making this film happen and we have to make sure that the audience knows the truth. Generation Iron Network and its investment partners have financed the film, its distribution/marketing and utilized the relationships to increase the film’s visibility on key platforms. Collectively with CT and his family, GI made a project that all were proud of and inspired by.
It is unclear why CT Fletcher (or whoever is running his social media) has made those comments, but we believe that he might be significantly misinformed. We DON’T want to believe that CT is intentionally trying to attack GI and misrepresent the facts to his followers…
Even in the light of the recent attacks and negative statements made by CT – Generation Iron Network has tremendous respect for CT Fletcher, his Family and his Fans.
