Rob Kearney suffers a terrible injury.

Pushing the limits of the human body is the goal of every strength athlete. Strongman competitors push themselves to achieve greater and greater levels of achievement in competition.

Recently strongman Rob Kearney looked to do just that at a recent strongman meet. Unfortunately the results were less than ideal.

The Rob Kearney, along with Luke Stoltman, recently attempted to break the log press world record. While Stoltman was able to gain success, Kearney suffered a terrible triceps injury during the attempt.

Kearney took to Instagram to address his fans on Instagram.

“What a way to end 2020….

Final diagnosis is a ruptured distal tricep tendon. I head off to surgery on Wednesday.

Head on over to my YouTube channel for a full, in-depth look at what is to come for me in the next few months. Thank you so much for all of the love and support, and a MASSIVE congratulations to my bestie @luke.stoltman on setting a new British Record.

Much love,
Rob”
