Bio:

Romina Basualdo is an IFBB-certified pro Bikini competitor from La Toma, Argentina. She is the first Argentinian athlete to go pro in the IFBB. She most recently placed 3rd at the 2017 Olympia Bikini competition.

Basualdo was not an athletic child, but following a traumatic physical injury in 2010 she was encouraged by a doctor to begin working out and doing physical therapy. To her amazement, she found her perspective on life refreshed, she had more energy, and was overall in a better mood when she was working out. She channeled that passion for fitness into a successful competitive career, and in 2014 she went pro.

In addition to her work as a professional bodybuilder, she owns her own line of fitness apparel and workout accessories called ROMINABASS.
