Champions aren’t born, they’re built.
Ronnie Coleman is considered by many to be the greatest bodybuilder of all time. The 8 time Mr. Olympia champion has cemented a legacy that few can match. With his size, definition, and stage presence, the former Olympia champ dominated the bodybuilding scene from the late 90’s into the 2000’s.
But Ronnie wasn’t always the world beater many fans knew him as. In the beginning of his career, as many others can relate to, Ronnie wasn’t winning the big competitions. His will to win would push him to make the needed changes to finally push himself to become the champion of champions. But we all had to start somewhere and Ronnie Coleman was no different. Check out this video of the Olympia champ’s first time on a major posing stage.

Believe it or not it would take Coleman eight more years after this event before he would start his reign as one of the greatest bodybuilders the sport has ever seen. The video also highlights the vast difference in the man’s physique before he ramped things up to the next gear. Pretty inspiring to see Coleman go from just another bodybuilder to a true pioneer.
