Rudy Kadlub Deadlifts 500 Lbs to Celebrate 71st Birthday This Year

Rudy Kadlub just celebrated his 71st birthday a few days ago and he decided to celebrate it the best way that he knew how.

Rudy is the co-founder and CEO of Kabuki Strength Lab, which is a training facility and equipment manufacturer. For his birthday this year, he celebrated with some whiskey and some weights. Kadlub deadlifted 227kg/500lb in the walkway of his home.

Called my friend and business partner Rudy this am to sing him happy birthday and he told me this was his plan to celebrate today. Amazing weather for a driveway pull and a little whisky pull as well. Happy 71st my man! #Repost @kabukistrength ・・・ Birthday #WhiskeyAndDeadlifts for Kabuki co-founder and CEO @rudykadlub who turned 71 today ? – Ended with 500 after a near miss at the top (grip) with a 520 PR attempt. At the age of 55, Kadlub began powerlifting competitively and he currently holds multiple American and world records. Just last year, after turning 70, Kadlub pulled two 229kg/505lbs singles in training for a Masters competition.

This is what it means to be anti-fragile. Rudy @rudykadlub (Kabuki Strength Co-Founder) turned 70 only ten days ago, and just pulled 505 for two singles as he prepares for the Masters Cup in a few weeks. He’s also been cutting down from 220 to 198 the last few weeks, and had a L3-L4 injury last week that he’s been rehabbing with help from our in-house specialists @young_strength_165 and @vermie19. ➖ VISION: Make a Better World Through Strength ▪️strength equipment ▪️research-based education ▪️world-class strength coaching ▪️philanthropy ▪️evidence-based supplementation ➖ www.kabuki.company Now offering 6-12mo 0% interest financing through Klarna, pending approval. ➖ #kabukistrength #kabukistrengthlab #kabukistrong #powerlifting #strengthandconditioning #strengthcoach #americanmanufacturing #strong #squat #strengthtraining #weightroom #barbell #barbells ➖ After you nail Nutrition and Training, check out @BuildFastFormula | Research-based formulas, effective dosages, full-disclosure labels, no-BS formulas or claims, and all manufactured in NSF-certified facilities #BuildFastFormula + #KabukiStrength = Results

These lifts are close to Kadlub’s best, which is 235kg/518lb deadlift from the 2018 International Powerlifting (IPL) Drug Tested World Championships in the -100kg weight class.

Strength Wars Movie

We are not certain of when Kadlub will compete again, but judging from his training, he has more gold medals to come in the future. His passion for lifting is unquestioned. Just a couple of weeks ago Kadlub pulled one of three 199.6kg/440lb triples in his garage home gym.

We are looking forward to see what Kadlub might lift to celebrate his 72nd birthday.
