Former WWE Wrestler Sara Lee Dead at 30

Sara Lee, WWE “Tough Enough” winner, has passed away at 30 years old. 

Sara Lee, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) 2015 “Tough Enough” season 6 winner, has died at 30, according to reports from her mother. Lee’s mother, Teri Lee, stated on social media:

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our Sarah Weston has gone to be with Jesus.

We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn.”

Just two days ago, Sara Lee shared a photo on Instagram and stated:

“Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row first ever sinus infection kicked my butt”

Sara Lee was from the small town of Hope, Michigan, born there on June 7, 1992. She was a 2010 graduate of Meridian High School in Sanford, Michigan, where she was on the track team and competed in powerlifting

After being voted by fans as the female winner of the WWE’s reality competition series, “Tough Enough,” Lee was awarded a $250,000 contract from the WWE–she was released in 2016. Lee was interviewed by the Midland Daily News newspaper in Midland, Michigan, and stated:

“I think my fans can kind of relate to me because I’m a normal girl. I’ve just been myself.” 

WWE Community’s Reaction to Her Death

As news of Sara Lee’s death spreads in the WWE community, many wrestlers have expressed their grief on social media. For example, WWE wrestler Chelsea Green shared photos of her with Lee on Twitter and tweeted:

“No tweet or amount of words can bring back this beautiful human, but all of my heart goes out to @TheWestinBlake & their family. Sara Lee will be missed greatly. The photo on the left is how I will always remember her – laughing, smiling, carefree.” 

WWE wrestler Nikki A.S.H. expressed her emotions on Twitter and said:

“You were so good in so many ways. You loved your family and friends so much. You were so giving, warm and selfless. You made me giggle. No matter how long we went without seeing each other, we would always pick up right where we left. I love you Sara.”

Additionally, WWE referee Shawn Bennett tweeted:

“Sara Lee was one of the sweetest people I’ve met and her smile lit up a room. My love and hope for strength goes to Cory, and their three beautiful children.” 

The story is still developing, and the cause of Sara Lee’s death has not yet been revealed. Sara Lee is survived by her husband, former WWE wrestler Westin Blake, and their three children. Below is an Instagram photo of Sara Lee and her family.
