Levrone’s comeback is admirable but foolish.

Every week, Iron Cinema will connect you with Generation Iron director Vlad Yudin. Giving you unprecedented inside access to the creative process behind his the Generation Iron Fitness Network. Get a first hand look at the entire journey of taking Vlad’s creative ideas to the big screen – from stories on set of films like Generation Iron and CT Fletcher all the way to exclusive behind-the-scene looks at our newest GI news and films. This week Vlad sits down once again with Shawn Ray to get his opinion on Kevin Levrone’s big Olympia comeback. His thoughts just might surprise you.

Shawn Ray is definitely a man with a lot to say – especially when it comes to industry decisions. Months back I had a chat with him to get an understanding of his thoughts on modern bodybuilders and how the IFBB runs its competitions. As usual, Ray didn’t pull any punches and told his straight and honest truth. That’s why I needed to get another interview with him after the big announcement that Kevin Levrone was coming out of retirement and competing at the 2016 Mr. Olympia. And while most bodybuilders and fans seem to admire Kevin’s surprising decision… Shawn Ray has some conflicting thoughts on the matter. Watch our latest Iron Cinema interview above.
