With Shawn Rhoden Training Extra Hard Recently, Is a Comeback on the Horizon?

Shawn Rhoden has been training hard recently raising questions of a comeback.

In 2018 the entire bodybuilding landscape was flipped on it’s head. Shawn Rhoden dethroned the seven-time Olympia champion Phil Heath in impressive fashion. Yet since then, due to legal issues, Rhoden hasn’t stepped on stage. But the recent footage showing Shawn Rhoden training extra hard has bodybuilding fans wondering if he will be making a comeback to competition.

The legal issues facing Shawn Rhoden have already been well documented. It was for this very reason that the 2018 Mr. Olympia champion would miss both the 2019 and 2020 shows.

While things still remain unresolved, what is certain is that Rhoden is still hitting the gym with focus and dedication. The former Olympia champion recently posted some videos of his recent weekend workout and he looks as focused and impressive as ever. It begs the question: is Shawn Rhoden readying himself for a return to competition?

In any case, the former champ is looking bulked up and strong.

Saturday therapy session was a good one. When you get the playground to yourself it’s the perfect day. Working my way back into training shape. Slow process is still progress just remain patient.

Rhoden would go on to take that same energy into the gym with him on Sunday as well.

Sunday funday so relax especially if your back hurt. Take time with your recovery. It’s just as important as you killing it everyday in the gym.

And of course on international leg day, Shawn Rhoden put in some work on his wheels.

It’s Monday, rise shine and grind. It’s the 1st of the month on a Monday. Start the day, week and month off on a good energy vibe. Let’s put some meat on these quads.

While the bodybuilding world continues to wonder when Shawn Rhoden will make his return, the former champ is still remaining ready to get back to action.
