CNN reports that a bodyguard for professional boxer Floyd Mayweather was shot in the leg and is recovering at an Atlanta hospital. The shooting in question doesn’t seem to be a random incident. Investigators report that “the shooter was targeting the victim’s vehicle.” This is according to an Atlanta Police Department release.

“We believe that Mr. Mayweather may have been in one of the other vehicles in the caravan and was not injured,” said Officer Lisa Bender, APD spokeswoman. The bodyguard was in a convoy of three cars that was traveling to a hotel just after 3 a.m. ET.
