SHOTS FIRED: “HOW BOUT THIS WEEKEND WE ALL PRETEND THAT YOU’RE THE ACTUAL LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD”

These guys need to fight already

In case you haven’t heard –  Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier don’t like each other…for real. This isn’t no promo cutting beef, if these guys saw each other on the street, it would be on. So this latest installment should come as no surprise. In an instagram video, former light heavyweight champ Jon Jones responds to Current champion Daniel Cormiers comments about his past drug use. In the video Jones tells Cormier how he feels about his paper title.

Jon Jones seems however to be beefing with everyone. Just last week he put out some unsavory in response to Chuck Liddell as Chuck said he could’ve given Jon Jones a run for his money in his prime.

“We’ll see how he comes back,” Liddell told The Fighter and The Kid podcast. “He always shows up to fight. He’s good at winning fights. If he keeps beating everybody he’s the best right now. I still think if he fought someone like me in my prime he would have a lot of trouble.

“The problem is he doesn’t hit hard enough to hurt me and he’s not going to out-wrestle me. He’s not going to out-wrestle me and I hit too hard for him. I would catch him sooner or later. Styles make fights.”

Jones did not take to that kindly.

Fortunately for us he does have a fight against the man he hates most – Daniel Cormier. The two lightweights face off at UFC 197 in Las Vegas on April, 23, 2016!
