So after a steady dose of back and forth, it appears that Floyd Mayweather will be indeed fighting Tenshin Nasukawa on New Years Eve. The original announcement and subsequent cancellation of the bout certainly came as a shock to the combat sports community. Now it appears we once again live in a world where the former pound for pound boxer will face off against the Japanese kickboxing star.


Floyd Mayweather had originally stated that the bout between he and Tenshin Nasukawa was considered to be a misunderstanding and that the match was supposed to be an exhibition. Now it seems the bout is back on, but why all the theatrics? Floyd Mayweather confirmed the fight when speaking to TMZ Sports. Check out the video here below.
