Steve Cook’s Arms Are Looking Insanely Massive

Most improved.

For a bodybuilder there’s absolutely nothing worse. When you’re endeavoring to make major changes to your physique most everyone, even the genetically gifted, run into a roadblocks from time to time. While growing muscle on the rest of their frame may be a simple task, the reality is that everyone has problem areas that need to be fixed. Where open weight and lightweight bodybuilding requires a great deal of mass and size as well as symmetry, the men’s physique category has it’s own criteria. While it may not emphasize the quads and glutes, the calves and upper body must be on point. It’s a challenge that even Steve Cook has faced during his competitive career.

A fitness personality with a great following and equal parts honesty and work ethic, Steve Cook is a naturally gifted athlete who is constantly pushing himself in order to inspire others and achieve greatness. Taking a break from competition for a considerable amount of time, Cook has finally announced his return to competition and is looking to improve upon his past performances. His biggest drawback had been his lower bicep development, something both Cook and the fans know well. The key to success in this game is all about pushing ego to the wayside and fixing what’s broken.

As such, Steve Cook has been working his weak points with relish and has taken some considerable steps forward to potentially improving his showing at the next Olympia. The Instagram posting below says it all. Steve Cook is back.

I look at how fitness has evolved on SM and I find myself at times wondering if I care more about likes than “my purpose”. Creating content for quick views with clever captions might get followers and provide entertainment value, but it distracts from digging deeper towards a more important “WHY”. A purpose driven life Is something I yearn for. A life with a message that might not get views or likes but one I can be proud of my kids watching or reading. I think it’s time for us as a society to take a step back and think about the content we consume/create and ask ourselves if it’s shaping us for better or worse.
