Powerlifters and strongmen both have one goal – to be the strongest. But how they achieve that goal are totally different between the two sports. One focusing on a strict set of classic weightlifting exercises such as bench press, squats, etc. The other focusing on age old lifts of a different sort like lifting atlas stones and flipping cars.
In today’s Strength Wars battle – a powerlifter and strongman face off to prove who is the absolute strongest. Patrik Baboumian, 282lbs vegan Strongman battling 231lbs Powerlifter Jiří Tkadlčík in a challenge including deadlifts, prowler & keg lifts!
This competition faces powerlifter and strongman with following heavy run:
– deadlift 250kg / 551lbs
– 10 reps prowler 180kg / 397lbs
– 50m (164feet) keg lift 80kg / 176lbs
– 10reps prowler 180kg / 397lbs
– 50m back (164feet)
