Strongman Jose Baez Jr. Shows Incredible Strength with 420Lbs Log Press

Jose Baez Jr. is a strongman to keep your eye on.

When Jose Baez Jr. was competing in college football, it was likely that he thought his future lied in the NFL. That would be a natural progression of course. But things didn’t pan out that way for Baez.

His post college career would instead see him putting his focus into strongman.

Strength Wars Movie

After leaving college Jose Baez Jr. continued lifting heavy, just as he had for his football training. But while the training kept him strong and engaged in fitness, Baez still yearned for competition. He would then turn to strongman where he’s already seeing great success.

Now after winning the 2019 Odd Haugen All-American Strength Classic and competing tin the Arnold Strongman Classic earlier this year, Jose Baez Jr. is getting his strongman career off to a solid start.

Now looking to improve upon his great strength, Baez is in the gym lifting some heavy weight. After straining his his bicep at the Arnold Strongman Classic back in March, Baez had been cautious with overhead press movements. It appears however that he’s put his doubts behind him as he recently lifted a whopping 420lbs in the log press.

Had me some post Christmas Saturday morning fun with @rafibro0413 @alicia_marie0618 @mr_dustincredible and @maxcerame pressing logs , carrying stuff and screwin around
420 lb (190.9 kg) log single.

Finally broke the mental barrier I had with cleaning and pressing over 400. Last time I went for it I strained the hell out of my bicep prior to the Arnold and I’ve been cautious ever since, pressing from the rack and such…..NO MORE lol. 450 youre next!!!
