Bad blood

Women’s strawweight champion  Joanna Jedrzejczyk and No. 1 contender Claudia Gadelha will square off against each other later this year over the title. While their skills alone is reason enough to tune in, these two just don’t like each other which will add bad attentions to end of every blow. The bad blood started between the two at the end of their first bout. Jedrzejczyk and Gadelha met in a non-title fight at UFC on FOX 13 in 2014, with Jedrzejczyk taking a split decision. Gadelha felt she won the fight and has been calling for the rematch ever since…looks like she got her wish. Rumor has it that the two couldn’t wait for the sanctioned bout later this year and took to blows at the end of the shows taping (head kicks and all). The series begins on April 20 on FOX Sports 1 with eight light heavyweight male fighters and eight female strawweights competing to become the next winner. https://youtu.be/sTacF73c8Hw
