A tragic accident cuts three lives short.

Milica Beslac, a 16 year-old competitive bodybuilder, passed away in a tragic car crash, along with her mother and world champion coach. The group had been at World Championship event in Romania, where Milica had been representing Serbia in the Fitness World Championships. They were returning home in an automobile when the unthinkable happened.

As the team approached a standard intersection, a massive truck plowed into the side of their vehicle killing the teenager and her mother instantly.

The coach, female champion bodybuilder Branislava Jovanovic, died shortly after impact.

Milica’s father Jovo Beslac, who was driving at the time of the accident, was immediately rushed to the urgent care unit of the closest hospital. According to The Sun, After the crash he said:

“My wife and my daughter died on the spot, while Branislava still had signs of life.

“However, it is unknown whether she will survive because her head was smashed.

“Her head and the head of my girl were next to each other, crushed.”

Milica was considered to be Serbia’s future bodybuilding champion. She stood at he top of the Balkans under-16s category, and of the state.

The teen came in seventh out of 35 in the World Championship event in Romania. She apparently had a shine even better than her placing, because after the event she was described by some local media outlets as ‘one of Serbia’s most beautiful champions.’
Family friend Predrag Barac is from Milica’s hometown of Apatin, and he is reported as commenting:

“Milica was a remarkable child, resourceful, beautiful and hard working. The fact that she was a great athlete tells you what she was like – a child Angel.”

“And the mother was like that, extraordinary woman. This is an unprecedented tragedy.”

The teen victim’s Facebook page has been flooded with heartfelt messages from shocked friends and fans.

Dea Dango Lusi posted:

“Why does God takes such young, innocent souls. Rest in peace.”

Tanja Tanja Glogovac commented:

“Youth prematurely extinguished…sadness…RIP beautiful Angel.

While Brankica Brancic-Dragojevic wrote: “I am speechless. May you be easy in darkness, sweet girl.”

Indeed this was a tragic passing and our thoughts and prayers are with victims and their families.
