New Updates Show The Rock and Dany Garcia’s Athleticon Will be a Game Changer for Bodybuilding

Athleticon is looking to be a real game changer!

Ever since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Dany Garcia announced Athleticon back in September speculation has grown as to how this new event could rival the Olympia. A ton of intrigue has built up since that time and now more information is coming out about the show that is being promoted as a major game changer in the bodybuilding and fitness space.


The Rock released additional information in a new Instagram post featuring himself and Dany Garcia describing the intentions behind the event.

Athleticon will feature events such as NPC Worldwide International World Championships, UFC Fan Experience and so much more. Celebrity appearances are expected by Julianne Hough among many others.

Robin Chang, former head promoter for the Olympia, is now spearheading events for Athleticon and Icon World classic.

As a big time fan of bodybuilding for years, The Rock for has always thought of dipping his toes into promoting and has finally made the leap. According to our sources the former WWE superstar had been negotiating to buy part of the Europa Games. After promoting the Olympia back in 2016 and 2017 The Rock went on and launched Athleticon with Robin Chang.

We also hear that Ford Motor Vehicles is expected to be a major sponsor at the event. The event will undoubtedly rival the Olympia which takes place a month prior and bring on some heavy hitting sponsors.
